Art infused with Science

More art cards

Art cards seem to be about the limit of what I can draw with  the almost knit broken hand.  It starts to hurt and my drawings are harder to control by the end of each tiny card.  Guess I just have to keep plugging away for a few more weeks before I can once again attempt the odd “grand statement”.

Here are some new art cards, all representational.  They’re a smaller 2×3 inch size, but I’ve been either framing them or mounting them on black acid free art card mat (or white bristol art card board)  (2.5 x 3.5 inches).  Either way makes a nice presentation.

I will be bringing all of the new art card miniatures to the Fayerweather School “Art of Craft” event during Cambridge open studios on Saturday.  Since I won’t have to worry about the extra packaging and mailing costs for the framed pieces if they sell at the fair, I plan to discount them to $20 each, framed – cash and carry on Saturday only.

The other cards are pictured in a previous post.

    • Hi Carole. The exhibit will be open weekends and they did a great job. So do check it out if you get the chance.
I find that the art cards are a nice way to let people who have limited space and limited budgets own something original, while still being a fair value for my time and effort (who can’t afford $15 or find space for something so small?). The more abstract ones right in my style – sort of mini versions of some of my major more expensive works on paper..
